In the diesel oil is mainly polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, oxygen impurity, nitrogen containing impurities and sulfur compounds influence the antiwear lubrication, lubrication of diesel depends on the content of anti-wear material, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, nitrogen-containing compounds have good antiwear properties, and sulfide not only wear, but promote wear. The problem of lubricity of low sulfur diesel can be solved from two aspects.

1. analysis the failure cause of engine oil pump and improve engine design.

2. the method of adding antiwear additive is used to solve the problem.

Because the cost of improving the engine equipment is huge and time-consuming, foreign oil companies mainly add antiwear agents to improve the lubricity of diesel and reduce the loss of equipment. Adding antiwear agent to improve the lubricity of diesel is the most economical and effective method at present.

Since China's entry into the WTO, the oil market has opened up further, and the quality of diesel oil must be in line with the international standards. Therefore, since July 1, 2007, the national standard equivalent to the European IV has been implemented. Diesel is developing towards the direction of ultra-low sulfur and low aromatics. Therefore, it is necessary to study the antiwear additive with high value and low toxicity and good application value to prevent the wear of diesel engine from becoming the development trend of domestic low sulfur diesel.

 

The mechanism of diesel lubricating modifier (antiwear agent):

Antiwear agent of low sulfur diesel are generally polar substances, adding small amounts of antiwear in diesel, the use of force polarity within or between molecules attached to the metal surface, organic adsorption film to generate more firmly, so as to improve the ability to prevent adhesion of low sulfur diesel.

Research progress of low sulfur diesel lubricating modifier (antiwear agent)

Adding antiwear agent is the basic way to solve the lubrication decline of low sulfur diesel oil. Many related researches have been carried out abroad, and mature diesel antiwear products have been developed. However, our research in this field started late and the research is lagging behind. In view of the development requirements of future diesel oil,

the research and development of high efficiency antiwear agents for low sulfur diesel oil in China are urgently needed. At present, active substances such as alcohols, ethers, esters, carboxylic acids and amides are studied as antiwear agents for low sulfur diesel oil. Both alcohols and ethers are oxygen - containing polar compounds, but more additives are needed as antiwear agents. Do antiwear additives are mainly carboxylic acid fatty acid compounds containing long chain, strong polar carboxyl and long carbon chain, can form a dense adsorption film on metal surface, can effectively reduce friction and wear, but will plug the filter using carboxylic acid fuel.

1. the new type of diesel antiwear agent produced by us is a kind of fatty acid type diesel antiwear agent. This new type of acid diesel antiwear agent and other additives in diesel oil have good compatibility. After adding, it will not form colloid or sedimentation in diesel oil, and will not affect other properties of diesel (such as low temperature fluidity, oxidation stability, sixteen alkane and antistatic property).
